Tweed Forum, as the name suggest, is a Forum of statutory and non-statutory organisations and groups with an interest in the long-term, sustainable management of the Tweed catchment. The guiding principal of the Tweed Forum is to provide an open arena for dialogue between these different parties with the aim of identifying common, agreed objectives and exploring the most appropriate means of achieving/delivering these objectives.
This can be as simple as agreeing which Forum member will lead on a specific issue/project, securing funding and approvals for trialling new approaches to existing problems or developing integrated partnership solutions to emerging issues.
