2020 Vision Project

There is an opportunity for a young person from the local area to work with a professional photographer on a conservation project called ‘Making Space for Water – A new approach to river catchment management’ which will be set on the River Tweed. The 2020 Vision Project is a national scheme where 20 young people will be working on 20 projects across the country for 20 months. It’s an incredible opportunity for a young person to gain photography and conservation experience and be an ambassador for wildlife in their community. Using Inland Water Responsibly: Guidance for All Water Users

This Guidance is intended to assist all water users to share inland water in Scotland in such a way that the interests of all are considered and respected. The Guidance, developed through a process of consultation and consensus building, aims to demonstrate how the different interests of water users can be responsibly, proactively and positively integrated.

The UNESCO HELP programme, of which Tweed Forum is a member, has published an excellent digest of the programme's aims and objectives etc.  This is available from the HELP site here.
